代表团由该校副校长Dr． Molly Smith 等一行4人组成。此次来访旨在保持两校间友好合作关系并洽谈进一步合作的可能性。
余小明代表学校对代表团的来访表示热烈欢迎，他表示，我校十分重 视与美国圣马丁大学长久以来的合作。会谈中，余小明解答了关于中医药对老年痴呆治疗作用的提问，并介绍了我校护理专业情况。随后，代表团参观了上海中医药博物馆。
今年暑假期间，余小明率我校师生代表团赴美国圣马丁大学访问，参加由两校共同主办的“中医药文化展”，对于促进中西文化的交流，推动中医药的国际传播起到积极作用，在当地广获好评。目前我校有2名学生正在该校进行访问学习。（国际交流处）
Vice president Yu xiaoming meets with the delegation from Saint Martin’s University
On the morning of November 6th, vice president Yu, xiaoming met with the delegation from Saint Martin’s University in the VIP room at the International Cooperation Center. The meeting was accompanied by Zheng, linyun, director of International Office.
The delegation of four was led by Dr. Molly Smith, vice president of Saint Martin’s University.
The visit aims at maintaining a friendly and cooperative relation between the two universities, and negotiating the possibility of further cooperation.
Yu extended warm welcome to the delegation. He expressed that the long-term cooperation with Saint Martin’s University is being attached great importance to. During the meeting, Yu clarified the functions of traditional Chinese medicine in treating senile dementia, and introduced the situations of nursing program in the university.
This summer, Yu led a delegation to the Saint Martin’s University, participating in the TCM culture exhibition hosted by the two universities, which contributes to the promotion of spreading TCM to the world. Currently, two students from Shanghai University of TCM are in Saint Martin’s University for academic visit. (International Office)
