徐建光，男，1962年2月出生，医学博士，教授、博士生导师。现任上海中医药大学党委副书记、校长，上海市中医药研究院院长。

1985年毕业于上海医科大学医学系。先后任华山医院手外科住院医师、主治医师、副教授、教授，期间获硕士学位及博士学位。

现任国家中医药改革和发展专家决策咨询委员会委员；中华医学会常务理事、中国医师协会常务理事；上海市医学会会长、上海市医师协会会长；中国医师协会手外科医师分会会长。曾任复旦大学附属华山医院院长，上海市卫生局局长，上海市食品与药品监督管理局局长，上海市卫生与计划生育委员会主任，中华医学会手外科学分会主任委员，中华医学会显微外科学分会副主任委员等。

Xu Jianguang, born in Feb. 1962, M.D. Phd., Professor of orthopedics (hand surgery, microsurgery). He is currently the Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of  Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine & President of Shanghai Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1985, Xu Jianguang subsequently served as a resident, attending doctor, associate professor and professor at the Hand Surgery Department of Huashan Hospital.

Prof. Xu Jianguang is currently serving as a member of the National Advisory Council for Reform and Development of TCM; Executive member of Chinese Medical Association; Executive member of Chinese Medical Doctor Association; the President of Shanghai Medical Association, the President of Shanghai Medical Doctor Association, and the President of the Hand Surgery Chapter of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. His previous positions include the President of Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, Director-General of Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, President of the Shanghai Food and Drug Administration, Chairman of the Hand Surgery Chapter of Chinese Medical Association, and Vice Chairman of the Microsurgery Chapter of Chinese Medical Association.
